Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par l&#8217;\u00e9quipe de recherche en robotique de l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne en Suisse, dans le but de rendre l&#8217;apprentissage de la programmation accessible aux enfants d\u00e8s le plus jeune \u00e2ge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Thymio est un robot mobile autonome dot\u00e9 de capteurs de proximit\u00e9, de d\u00e9tection de couleur, de boutons de commande et de LEDs. Les enfants peuvent utiliser un logiciel de programmation visuel comme SNAP! BYOB avec ThymioSNAP pour programmer le robot et lui faire ex\u00e9cuter des t\u00e2ches, comme par exemple, suivre une ligne, \u00e9viter les obstacles, r\u00e9agir aux couleurs ou aux mouvements. Le logiciel de programmation est simple \u00e0 utiliser et permet aux enfants de d\u00e9couvrir les concepts de la programmation de mani\u00e8re progressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un des avantages de Thymio est qu&#8217;il est tr\u00e8s abordable et facilement disponible, il est utilis\u00e9 dans de nombreux programmes d&#8217;\u00e9ducation en robotique, dans les \u00e9coles, les biblioth\u00e8ques et les centres de loisirs.
